Our Products

Portablefloodlights.com has two primary fully portable floodlight systems, the Grandstar and the Megastar. The Grandstar, our latest model, utilises 4 x 55W fluorescent tubes and operates for approx. 2 hours when fully charged. The Megastar has 4 x 36W fluorescent tubes and whilst the Grandstar has 1.5x the light output, the Megastar operates for approx 3 hours. Depending on your training programs you should select the either model to suit your requirements.

Recommended number of floodlights for your playing area
8 units* is the optimum number required to illuminate a playing surface of up to 60 x 40 metres. For smaller areas 6 units* may suffice, including MUGA playing areas. In addition we recommend that you purchase the Carry Holdalls to maintain/transport your floodlights, additional stability pegs and 4 spare fluorescent tubes which you are then able to immediatley replace in the event of failure.
