The portable floodlights do not require mains supply (trailing cables), planning permission and are extremely cost effective when compared to annual hiring costs or fixed floodlighting.
Importantly the lights allow your club, school, association or community scheme to train where(grass or other surfaces) you want and at times to suit all age groups.
It only takes 1- 2 minutes to erect/dismantle each unit. We do recommend that you have at least 2 people erecting/dismantling the lights for additional safety and time reduction (particularly in poor weather conditions).
The core stability is provided in two primary ways-fixing of the centre portion of the tripod into a sleeve fixed on top of the battery and by stability ground pegs which are fed through the bottom of each leg of the tripod.
In extreme wind conditions we recommend lowering the tripod to suit conditions.
In short no as these are mobile and not fixed fittings-however if at all in doubt (ie if you believe there may be a possible light pollution issue due to location of your training area) then we recommend you check with your local authority.
The tripod and lamphead are lightweight. It is possible to carry 4-6 tripods in the carry cases. It is also possible to carry up to 4 lampheads at a time. One battery at a time should be carried.
